Hannah Franklin, BA, MA, OTD (2023)
As a current occupational therapy doctoral student at the University of Southern California, I am completing my residency at California Rehabilitation Institute. An inherent value I have held since youth is that regardless of one’s age, experiences, illnesses, or disabilities, all people have an intrinsic desire to engage in pursuits of happiness which come to us naturally as people. The innate need to socialize, learn, and grow are fundamental aspects of life where individuals find the most meaning in what they do, pursue, and accomplish. Throughout my life, I have been devoted to helping others live their life as independently as possible via care, support, and dedication in my actions. My commitment to integrity in conjunction with my passion to make an everlasting impact on others’ lives has given me purpose and motivation to pursue this career and make a difference in the lives of my patients.
